Silicone masking caps in cylindrical, flanged, tabbed and bar types: 260 °C resistant outer-surface protection that can be reused many times.
Silicone caps are masking parts that fit over the outer surface on paint and coating lines. Cylindrical, flanged, tabbed and bar types protect bolt heads, pipe ends and profile sections from paint.
The flexible body seats on different tolerances, while tabs and flanges make removal easy. They hold their shape at 260 °C continuous and are used hundreds of times on powder coating, e-coat and wet paint lines.

A cap fits over the outer dimension of the part it covers, so selection considers the part's outer diameter, wall thickness and the cap's inner depth together. A loose cap lets paint bleed; an over-tight cap tears during removal.
Tabs and flanges speed up removal on lines where operators wear gloves. Cylindrical caps cover thin, long parts while bar types cover square profiles. Because caps are reused many times, consumable cost per line drops.
