Liquid Plastisol and Plastisol Coating

Liquid Plastisols Usage Areas

Plastisol is a metal coating chemical made by dip coating, dip molding and spraying method. Liquid plastisols are also called plastic paint in liquid form with a certain viscosity. Plastisol coating is the process of coating a certain part or all of metal parts with liquid E-PVCs.

Plastisol Coating of any metal goes through three stages. These are;

  1. Pre-heating
  2. Plastisol Immersion
  3. Curing Process

If there is any coating or paint on the metal parts that will be exposed to high temperatures twice in these stages, these coatings must be resistant to temperatures of 170-180 °C.

Plastisol coatings can be coated to protect metals against corrosion, abrasion, protection of sharp points, insulation against electricity and heat, vibration and friction, as well as to obtain decorative and flexible surfaces.

In terms of industry, plastisol coatings are widely used in automotive spare parts, defense industry metal parts, children’s playground and park sector, hardware products (hand tools, garden and vineyard shears, etc.), machine parts, construction industry metal parts, and products used in the medical industry.
